From the 10 Sep 26 DoW contract announcements. Looks like a popular rifle: "Charles Reed Knight Jr., Titusville, Florida, was awarded a $49,997,842 firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for M110 Semi-Automatic Sniper Systems, variants, accessories, spare parts, special tools, and training. One bid was solicited with one received. Work locations and funding will be determined with each order, with an estimated completion date of Sept. 10, 2031. IDIQ FFP is an agreement to make as few or as many are ordered over the contract period, with a pre negotiated increase in price over the length of the contract (typically). The DoD could order 50, 500, 5000 or none over the contract length. |
