Alright I may start making some moves on a Mk13 Mod 5. Can somebody PM me a phone # for Chris @ RBA? I'd like to ask him a few questions.
Any other builders worth recommending at this time? ETA: Disregard. I was able to get a hold of him. Really enjoyed discussing the project. |

View Quote RW Snyder Gunsmithing built my Mod 5 (and many other forum members' as well) - he's another reputable builder who knows his stuff and has a lot of experience building Mk13s. I don't have personal experience with RBA, but they obviously have a good rep as well. |

WTB: ARMS swan sleeve for PRI gen 1 or 2 tubes. Sleeve is not notched on the bottom to fit gen 3 barrel but. Looking for any early PRI tubes and charging handles.

I'm curious if Remington will ever offer their XM2010 chassis again on the civilian market.
The fact that EuroOptic was able to get them to do a run of new M24s - makes me hold out hope... |

Anyone have any pics of the Barrett Mk22 ASR out in the wild yet?

Tempted to order a thoroughbred kit, but don't realistically see myself finishing it any time soon. I don't really want to sell it, but shoot me an IM and maybe we can work out a trade. @Samson-Dogg ETA- sent you an email to your gen3 email from last time we talked |

Don't know if I've ever seen that on a 700 before (not that I'm any kind of expert). |

PGW is winding down their operations, so if you need one of their UNS rails for an M40A3/5 build, get it while you can! There might be an opportunity for a group buy from them in the future, but I wouldn't wait around to find out.

It’s just a notch cut into it if memory serves right. Regardless, it’d be a safer bet to just replace the whole assembly. My old bdl had one but it was easier to just replace the whole thing vs just the shroud. Especially now since Remington is still coming back online with no spare parts the whole assembly should be easier to find used vs a shroud. |

If you want long range, go PVS-27, PVS-30, or PVS-24 LR. I haven't seen the 22 available recently, but admittedly, I haven't been looking. PVS-27s were available in quantity and relatively cheap a year and a half ago. PVS-30s are still available but have gone up in price over the last couple years. |

If not, there are better options. A few years back, dealers received surplus PVS-30's in various conditions (used to pretty much new old stock). These were priced around $4,000+, so they're a steal compared to $10,000+ PVS-22's! The price has increased, since they sold out long ago, but deals can still be found on ebay, gunbroker and the forums, every now and then. |
