| Well dudes I’m freaking out a little here. I sent all my m24a2 parts off to RWS earlier this week after much hesitation because I was paranoid about this very situation, my package has gone MIA. I sent it registered mail, which I was told was the most secure way of sending something. My package hasn’t been scanned in over 2 days and was supposed to be delivered today. Well obviously that’s not happening. Do I just sit here helplessly hoping my box with thousands of dollars of parts shows up? Is there anything I can do? |

I was told registered mail is signed for by every pair of hands it touches. It was scanned 7 times within the first 24 hours in USPS possession. Now nothing for the last 48 hours. Attached File |
| I'm not far from Shitcago so nearly all of my mail goes through there. I've had packages scanned in as "arrived" at (or even left, then scanned back in) the same facility several times over a couple of days. |

I have a registered mail package that's been sitting in Washington DC for almost a week now with no movement. It will get to it's destination just fine, you're only a few days into the journey. I've never lost a Registered Mail package, and neither has anyone I've known. It's by far the most secure way to ship anything! Hell, my buddy recently mailed an original USMC M40 back to me via USPS Registered Mail and insured for $100k. It arrived quickly and without any issues. |
| Who would you buy a barrel from for a M40a5 other than Schneider? I bought a barrel blank from Gary in 2021 and never received it. New owners wanted nothing to do with the situation and kept telling me to contact Mr. Schneider who wouldn't answer phone calls or emails. Looking for different provider. |

| I didn't bid, just to be clear. I just saw it yesterday and noticed that it hadn't been posted here yet. I did think to myself when looking at the pics that the paint seemed too nice to have been a used gun. I guess I just thought to myself that it had been sitting in an arms room for awhile and wasn't really used. That makes sense that they're building rifles out of old parts to sell, I wish that they'd just sell the parts like you mentioned though. |

New sniper rifle for the collection! I recently won this CMP auction and the rifle arrived today! This is a pretty significant and extraordinarily rare M40 variation that was used by some interesting Army units! It's 100% legit, the M40 receiver was made in 1968, and it would have been converted to this M24 type configuration sometime between 1995 and 2008. https://cmpauction.thecmp.org/detail.asp?id=8509&n=Remington-Model-700-Serial-Number-6257272    |

I know I would. Nah, the one to have that Remington produced side by side to the M2010 would have been the MSR. Three user replaceable barrels in three calibers, 7.62mm, .300WM and .338 Lapua. The M2010 had a factory installed barrel and it had to go back to Remington for the swap. .300WM shoots out barrels pretty fast, so one could have spare barrels on hand when needed without shipping the weapon away for repair. The MSR and the M2010 were virtually identical in every other respect aside from them NOT using 25 year old M24 receivers which was supposed to be a real cost saver for the Army. |
