I was looking inside my barrel using a cheap borescope and can see rings in the rifling -

There are a bunch of spots where rings just like that occur. What would cause them?

Sounds like carbon ringing but I'm betting what you actually are seeing is tool marks.

The image should be visible now.
This is the first time I have looked down one of my barrels. I have never seen rings like that.

It is the factory barrel on my RPR with almost 1400 rounds on it.
