Here are a couple more 9mm AK's getting ready to begin a grueling set of torture tests. If all goes well we are looking at a late August or early September release.

Also, the 5.56 AK is in the final rounds of its torture test phase, and should be out around the same time.

Would you be able to show us a better picture of the rear sight? Also, do these have a optic side rail? What furniture does the 9mm gun take? It looks to be M92 all handguards. We can assume 1/2-28 muzzle threads?

The AK sidefolding style brace has been approved by the ATF. We will be offering these in limited quantities as we have excess supply over our production needs.

We will be offering the AK pistol in 7.62x39, 5.56, and 6.5 Grendel. The rail on our 9mm and other AK pistols will co-witness with several popular red-dot optics. The 9mm AK pistol will be shipped with a 35 rd Scorpion style magazine manufactured by us.

We will be offering a Krinkov style sidefolding pistol in 2019. The Krinkov pistol will be available in 7.62x39, 5.56, and 300 Blackout.

For all of those asking about the PSA5, we are still in development with it, and it is scheduled for release in the 2nd or 3rd quarter of 2019.

Fucking awesome!! I definitely will be buying a bunch of AKs from you guys then. At minimum one 9mm, 5.56 NATO, and 6.5 grendel.

One question, does the 9mm have muzzle threads, or is the brake screwed on to the gas block? If it does have muzzle threads what pitch are they, as i intend to suppress mine.

Is that a bolt release on the left side of the mag well or is that a secondary mag release?

Also, on the model with the Magpul handguard, are you using the MOE AK handguard or the MOE AKM handguard?

Well PSA already said the 9mm will have 1/2-28 muzzle threads a few posts up. I don't know about a hinged top cover as PSA hasn't said anything about that, but looking at the picture posted it looks like it may have one.

I was planning on getting a scorpion, but I may hold off until these 9mm aks come out. Ill have to swap the rear trunnion to a 4.5mm folder though.

I got out of the AK game because I wanted to keep my rifle caliber logistics simple with just 5.56 and .308 and that is it.

Nope, not one more caliber to add. Verboten!

But then PSA comes out with a 9mm AK.

I have a lot of 9mm.

It will use the same AK magazine well as our 5.56 AK and uses 6.5G AR15 magazines.

- 7.62x39 is a fine deer/hog hunting caliber, while 5.45 is not (not for deer anyway). America is still a hunting nation in rural areas; tons of deer are taken every year with Mini-30s, ARs in 762, SKS, and yes, AK-47s. I predict the 47 will always be more popular in the U.S. for that reason alone. But add to it:

-7.62 is domestically manufactured by most of the major manufacturers, while none of them produce 5.45. The closest major ammo makers ever came to domestic 5.45. Was Hornady's offering - which still relied on Russian made primed cases. As we have seen, imports of ammo can easily be eliminated - starting with the executive Chinese / Norinco ammo ban against China, and more recently the various bans on certain Russian ammo/components (ie I can't get Wolf primers anymore; import banned). Thus, 5.45 could disappear from the U.S. market, while 7.62x39 will live on in the even of an import ban.

I am not knocking the 5.45; just throwing some support behind PSA's business decision to go with the 762 first.

Trust me, i know. I love the 5.45, the AK74m is the AK that got me into Aks. I just wish manufacturer would start to make reloading components for it. It is a 20 caliber bullet and there are already several 20 caliber cartridges like 204 ruger so bullets wouldn't be a problem.
