| First off I would like to say this is not a 106fr bashing thread. I love this rifle and its probably more accurate than I am, with that said however I had a couple problems at the range I was shooting a few different kinds of ammo. my reloads, WPA 55 gr fmj, Tula 55 gr fmj, LC 55 gr fmj. The malfunctions occurred using either Tula or WPA wasn't really paying attention I was using a gen 2 black circle 10 mag, which didnt lock in very tight. Two different Times it would fail to feed or eject. I also have a clear circle 10 which locks in very tight and have not had any type of malfunctions with any of the above ammo. |

Very odd that it doesn't lock in tight, Circle 10's are normally a snug fit in SLR106s, both black and smoke.
This may sound silly, but are you sure it's a Circle 10 and not a Promag? The Promags have a very similar waffle pattern, but they are crappy, lack the ((10)) mark, and have no steel reinforcement. I ask this because I have had to correct a person selling what they thought was a Circle 10 mag, but was actually a Promag. |
