what is the proper range to zero a 556 AK with the standard sight radius and how does it track with the 800m rear sight??

I'm gonna take my 106FR out for a test spin..........

1m is about 39 inches, but a std 100yd zero is fine for most to 300yds. Then rapid bullet drop ( it drops more from 250-300 than it does from 0-250) and variation in velocity (55/62gr, milpsec vs Wolf powder load)  have more to say than the slide adjustment.

Zero at 100, then use either '1' or the battle zero pulled back = 3, and learn to vary your sight picture.

Actually had it out earlier this week, and with 62gr Wolf, I sighted the battle sight zero at 25 yds and then my 300m mark was right on the money.......
Didn't bother 100, it'll be in the re somewhere, thanks!
