Here’s a pic of my most recent AK build. It’s from a Bulgarian 5.45 kit that I got from Cope’s. It was put together by Mike Friend of The Firing Line located in Wyandotte, Oklahoma. Mike does outstanding work for a fair price and got the job done in a reasonable amount of time.
The details: NoDak Spud Receiver Bulgarian Kit and Barrel KVar Double Stage Trigger Kvar furniture Ultimak Railed Gas Tube Hogue Grip Aimpoint R-1 RDS (Duracoated black) Vltor Light Mount MI Sling Mount (mounted on right side of stock) Surefire G2 LED Light OSOE 2 Point Bungee Sling The Bag is a Terrorist Interdiction Bag from OneSourceTactical. I put a couple hundred rounds through it to zero and test fire. Hopefully, I get a chance to really wring it out in the next week or so. |

I have several AK47 type rifles but this is my first 74. I actually got a good deal on 6,000 rounds of 5.45 and then decided I better build a rifle to shoot all that cheap ammo I just bought.
That's just not quite right  (to buy ammo and not even have a gun to shoot it)
