Gents:  Have a Romanian AK in 7.62....about what should I expect in terms of accuracy?  Scope, 4 inches at 75 yards?  If the Romania AK won't shoot, would consider buying another, but which are the most accurate? Tx, v/r W

The general consensus is 3-6" groups at 100yds for most all 7.62 AKs, depending slightly on ammo, but moreso on shooter input.  There are some reports I've reaad on here of guys with Arsenals getting 2" groups at 100yds, but don't expect that out of a Romanian.

It isn't an AR by any means, but it'll kill what needs killing.

I shoot much better using a POSP scope on my rifles as my vision has degraded and I find the AK notch sight harder to use as I got into 40's.  The peep sight on an AR is much better for me.

Accuracy can be better or worse than mentioned but that is about the average, depending on the rifle type.

The 5.45x39 and .223 rifles will give you better accuracy.

Call it "minute of torso" at 100 yards.
