Does anyone make or sell a thinner front sight post? I consider myself a good shot, and think that the only thing standing in the way of excellent accuracy with my AK is the huge front sight post, it's at least 6 or 7 moa. On the small rifle targets I use, the width of the post is the same as the width of the entire black circle of the target at 100 yards.
If no one makes such a thing, how might I go about sanding/grinding it down to make it thinner? It would obviously have to have material taken off all 360 degrees, otherwise it couldn't be adjusted very well... |
