I am either going to go with a Polish underfolder or a SAR1.  Is there any way I can get the full auto selector stop position put on the receiver?  I saw two AKs on the EE that has this.  I want to make it authentic as possible.

Also,  what receiver would be the most authentic for the Polish underfolder?

And, if I get the SAR1 barrel threaded, will it be authentic to a real AIM-47 or is the bbl diameter already turned down to remove threads that were already there.

They can answer all your questions and do all the work.  Not cheap, but if you want it done right....??

On most SAR-1's there is enough metal to thread the muzzle end.

What is the authentic finish for the polish and romainian AKs?

But will the threads be the same dimensions as a real AIM-47?

I thought about having that done to a couple different rifles at one time but since our semi-autos do not have the evil third pin anyway, it kinda defeats the point to me.  Now if you could some how duplicate the third pin without drilling the evil third hole, that would be sweet.

Go with Chris Butler at AK-USA!  Here's my RPK-74 he built for me.  I went all out to get a lot of authentic touches on it like the selector markings.  It actually shoots from either position.  Now I need a plumb RPK folder and a ribbed upper hand guard...

How would the selector marking and postion be done on an already complete rifle?
