I have been looking for just the right case for my AK underfolder.  The gun is exactly 26” OAL. Ideally I'm looking for something about 27" long, that isn't black and doesn't have external magazine pouches. I don't see many options right now.

BlackHawk makes a nice looking 29” black case but it's a little expensive, and I would just as soon not get black. TAC Force has basically the same case, but in OD Green. They just don't have the right size.  The other case I found is this bull pup case.  What else is there when it comes to 27”-29” discreet rifle cases

Did you see that the old M60 barrel bags can be used to hold an underfolder?  And for a very lightweight cover the old Cetme bags hold the enitre rifle except the slant brake is all that sticks out.  This may not be what you were looking for but I thought I would throw the idea out there for you.  Here are some pixs of it:

Both of these can be had from surplus stores.  If you find a surplus store that has them request a padded one.  Back in the 70's when these were new they made a "padded" version which feels just about like the padding in a normal gun bag.  The bag is made of rubberized canvas so it is definitely water resistant too.  The M60 one that is.  The Cetme bag can be found at SAMCO for very little change.  I bought my last padded M60 bag for $20 but sometimes they run a little more expensive than that.  Fits in there like a glove and it'll even fit in there with the cetme cover on too!  Double protection.

There are some other cool ideas for underfolders some may be interested in on my M70 web site.  From it there are other links to my PSL, FAL and M59/66 SKS web sites.  Lot's of RG launching stuff on the SKS site.

I have to agree with the M60 barrel bag suggestion.  I bought one off gunbroker for around $15 delivered and the thing is brand new and fits my Polish underfolder like it was made for it.

I also use the M60 barrel bag.  The gun fits perfectly.  There are pockets for mags and the case does not scream firearm.  It actually looks like a tennis racket case to most people.  I like it and they are cheap too.

I bought a couple NOS 1970's Polish canvas underfolder cases from a EBay seller in Poland. Not cheap. But they are well made and in outstanding condition. Just word search on EBay.

Here are a couple of places to get the m60 barrel bag.  Not sure if either has the padded ones so a call and question may be in order.

Indiana Army Surplus-bag not on web site, call them or email them

SIR PLUS SUPPLY- on web site unpadded, call or email to see if he has any more padded ones

Sunset guns-has padded bags on web site

Also check with every surplus military store you can find as there are many bags out there, you just got to find them!
