I can't do a folder, but I really would like to get in on these cheap AMD kits coming in.  Is it a no-brainer to toss a straight stock on an AMD-65 or should I stick with trying to round up a 63 kit?

If you're builing it yourself or having it built on a US reciever just buy a standard rear mounting block & use it instead if you want a conventional fixed stock.

I vote for the -63. Get em while you can.

If you decide to sell the wood stock, let me know.

Just get the AMD65 Kit, they are cheaper than AMD63 kits and you can sell the folder here and buy yourself a nice wood buttstock.

63 it is then!

Ballpark $80 for the 65, plus $25 for the muzzle extension to get 16", plus a $30 buttstock, and you may as well get an all matching single shipping charge 63.

Yea, what he said!

Ok, so any good leads on the AMD-63 kit then?

That's a good question, most vendors are out.  Thet do get scooped up in the EE mighty quick too.
