I have a question, I'm looking at the AMD-65 parts kit from cheaperthandirt and this disclaimer was with the add. What does this mean? Does it mean i can't use this to build an AMD-65? or doesit have to do with not being US made parts. Thanks

"these are sold as collector items or as replacement parts for the original licensed weapons. NO NO NO you can build. You just have to have the six US parts and the barrel has to be 16", TAPCO has longer brakes that you solder on. No big deal, it is the same for all parts kits. They just put that disclaimer to cover their ass. You can get good kits here from jnewt and bocefus on the EE, or from clearview, tapco, and other sources.

Can someone please tack ONE of the 50,000 threads covering this issue?

ETA: Yeah, what 1Gunner said, nothing against you, it jsut seems like we get this question almost daily so it should be up at the top in big bold letters :-)

I think this might be a sign that some of us spend way to much time on this site. Plus if we tacked to topics we wouldnt have much to talk about
