I had the opportunity to run 2 mags of Russian HP through an AMD 65 on a DCI lower. The rifle is new and using new 30 rnd. mags made in Hungary. First mag seemed to work 100%, next mag (fully locked in) had several FTFeed issues. I didn't have much time to shoot more or diagnose, and I have never had an AK malf on me in the past. I am relatively sure that it was a mag problem, but have never had issues with mags either in an AK and these were new looking mags. Any thoughts on issues I may not be considering?

I'd say magazine. Try the first mag again. As far as "reliability", it's only as reliable as it was built. Perhaps a Century build on a DCI receiver? May need a little tweaking here and there.
