Just wanted to share some pictures; TGI built; so far has a MI FDE Quad rail with US Palm top cover for a Burris Fastfire II and FDE US Palm AK Battlegrip installed last night. Still not certain how I am going to proceed with the stock. Was thinking about the Krebs/ACE combo, AMD tech riser, or just keep it the same and throw some paracord on it.

Looks good but I just liked the fit and finish of the M.I. more. I don't plan on mounting any red dot on the rail though so the UTG will work just fine. I spoke to Krebs a few days ago and if I understood correclty the adapter for the ACE stock will not work on the AMD not having the rear tang. You have to use the krebs adaptor and mount the ace folder {if you want a folder} or just the ace stock to the krebs adaptor. either way if you want to change the stock krebs is the only one out there that makes an adaptor. Didn't know they had that one specific to the AMD, I asked about one for AK's with no tang. I just found the post using this with the ACE folding stock, very cool and just when I thought my AMD was done. |
