I have four kits to have built.  A Romy, Polish, ak74u, and an m92.  I have managed to demill them all with no major screw ups.  My question now is if I should have them built or build them myself?  I have access to a press for the rivet and barrel work.  That being said I am a bit of a perfectionist in doing things.  I have been going back and forth.

I would say go for it and build it yourself.

Build the Romy first. If you don't like the result, send the other ones out, or do it over until you're happy with the result and then build the others.

I was convinced to build and aquired a LOT of new knowledge and tools during the process.  It took me a bit longer to complete, but it made it all the more worth it!

You will have a stong sense of pride and ownership knowing you built it with your own hands.  Dont rob yourself of the experience and the education by sending it off to someone else.

Good luck.
