I have a chance to buy one newish in the box. I realize it's a first generation military red dot, but apparently there is not much information on the Internet about them.

What would be a reasonable price to pay?

How would it compare to the later models?

I have a new Aimpoint on my AR. This one is for an AK.

They are good solid optics.
Battery life is the big thing to change in the various generations
of the Aimpoints...

As for price, dont know....  I sold one a year or so ago but can't
recall what I got for it..  at least a couple hundred if not more.
