| The M4 is a pretty big optic, I don't think co-witness is going to happen. I'm currently co-witnessing on an ultimak with a micro and browsing through the non-traditional thread, it looks like everyone in there is running a micro, so I'm assuming this is all because co-witness probably isn't possible with the M4. |

do you own an M4 optic?
ETA: the reason I ask is, well, Im getting into AKs now and learning and building but Ive used these things on ARs. Matter of fact Ive got one on my go to gun right now. Id bet my life on that bad boy. But I would never put in on an AK......reasons: ? 1. To me, it just doesn't look right. 2. Without modification and maybe even WITH modification I dont see an optic designed for an AR platform Co-Witnessing with AK irons like the way you are expecting. 3. The M4s has a bit of weight too it. My advice is to really check this out before you drop some major coin on an optic like that. |

Yes, I bought a new one yesterday at the gun show for 550 0ut the door. I'm trying to figure out what to do with it. I've have Eotechs, an AGOC, and Millet DMS-1 one various rifle already but no optics on any of my AK's at this time. So I was thinking puting this on one but I was wanting an co-witness. I have used an Eotech on an ultimac and on the side rail in the past. I liked it both ways but you could not use the sights if it died. |
