I am interested in buying an AK74 from a fellow on another site. I am curious what the barrel is, I don't one with a new US made barrel like the some of the century polish tantals.
He does not know, but he has provided me the markings on the barrel. "There is an "X221" stamped along the long axis of the barrel and another "1188" stamp running horizontally under the first stamp. These are both located under the gas tube/handgaurd. " That is his answer. Any idea what those markings are ? Bulgarian surplus markings ? Thanks |
