| Looking at a few AK's this week. From what I understand, if the bolt and trunion have different serial numbers (i.e. non-matching) then headspace should be verified with a gage. This would of course assume that the barrel and trunion have remained mated since manufacture. So, matching numbers is one of the things I'll be looking for. Any other suggestions along these lines as they relate to headspacing? |
