depends on ak but most have to be pressed out and you will not be able to do it without a press no pics, but you have to press the barrel pin out of the trunion (its above the barrel) then press the barrel out of the trunion. a real pain in the ass/almost impossible w/out a press |
| You dont absolutely have to have a press to press a barrel pin out and then the barrel. Just use a BFH and a strong punch for the pin. Then cover the chamber with 1 or 2 brass washers and use a pin or something that fits and hammer it out. I might suggest you have a helper holding the barrel steady when someone is hammering it. |
