In the Latest SGN, I/O has the STG priced at $449.00 for the 7.63 version--$100 more than last week.
Also, AIM no longer has the STG on their website--new pricing coming or something else?

SOG still has them for $350 and I ordered one today.

You must go through an FFL I thought?

Both still list them @ ~$350 on their sites, better order quick!

Im still waiting for the vaporware 5.56 version. If the price rises prior to availability, Ive lost what little interest I had. At $450.00+, de-banned  NHM-90/91 or Saigas in 5.56 (or even a SAR3) becomes more attractive than the WASR/STGs. The furniture and FSB doesn't overcome my ambivalence for the WASR3 underpinnings.

It may be these are better rifles than the WASR3s - but I'm doubtful until I see some reports. So, who wants to guinea pig it at 5 bills?

The rifle must be shipped to a FFL but individuals can purchase directly from SOG.

Here is how I do it.
1. call my FFL and say "hey I want a STG-2000 from SOG"
2. my FFL calls SOG and tells them he will accept an order c/o CavalryJim
3. I call SOG and order the STG-2000
4. SOG charges me directly and ships to my FFL
5. when it arrives, I fill out the paperwork, pay a transfer fee, & pick-up the rifle

SOG gets the sale, my FFL gets a transfer fee, and I get the STG-2000....everyone is happy!
