Every conversion that I have ever seen done to a Saiga to make it look more normal still has that goofy ugly ass handguard on it.... Why? Are there no provisions under that handguard to put on a normal retainer plate? Planning on doing a conversion on a 12ga on Sept 14th to give it a folding stock, pistol grip, Ultimak, and Aimpoint

You can use regular AK1xx handguards, but the mods and install is not a garage wecsog job. This guycan do it perfectly. I have a buddy with a PG converted saiga, and the handguard is actually more effective than the military style, if not as aesthetically pleasing. |
