Nice. I kept one of my Yugos in the "Nightfighter" setup. The more I looked at it, the more it grew on me.

I've got the same Yugo from JG sales. I love it. It runs good off laquor coated ammo but stops up on every round of polymer coated.. so I'm considering taking it to a gun smith to have chamber work done on it. Let me know how it goes when you take it to the range.

I felt the same way and kept one of my underfolders in Yugo Stealth mode.  Nice pick!

I find it kinda disturbing that there are so many M70B1s and AB2s in circulation and yet not a single manufacturer offers a polymer stock set (butt, PG, HG) for these rifles.  I have two B1s and would like to dress one in polymer but that isn't a possibility today and it looks like it never will be.  I would think the demand would be sufficient to justify someone stepping up to the plate and making this happen.  Someone other than Century, I'm talking quality polymer sets here.

I would think there would be a few polymer sets available from Yugo buyers who replaced their polymer sets with wood.

Start fishin'.... I'll bet someone bites.

**Edit to add:  See?  This is what happens when I don't read the full post before hitting the "reply" button.... didn't notice the quality caveat before I posted.

Yeah, I'm sitting on my own personal stash of crappy Century polymer right now, why I hold on to it I do not know.  I have Century polymer pistol grips and handguards sitting in a box somewhere.  Just waiting/hoping for something better to come along, probably never going to happen...

anyone know where I can get the Black handguards. I have a M70AB2 and it came with wood. I like it but I find that it bottom one has play in it, is that normal?

I held one yesterday in the gun store and I liked it.  I did not however like the $659 price tag on it and had to let it go.

Yeah the Price on these are going up, from what I have seen anyway. I dont think $629 is such a bad price.. But here in hawaii all gun's are priced pretty high. buying kits make it cheaper but I like buying the guns whole.. I think Im gonna pick up another AK just not sure if I wanna go with another underfolder. I like it alot but just somthing different.

Maybe a little too quality, but if you got an underfolder the Ultimak gas tube plus modular forearm make a nice replacement set up front.
