Sorry, but I don't use a bipod for mine. It's not a distance shooter so I didn't see the need for a one. But I'm all for doing whatever you want to make your rifle better suited for your needs. Try the harris or the command arms bipods. But if you just want a decent cheap bipod - check out the utg bipod. It should fit your needs..

Disclaimer: I use this UTG bipod for display purposes only....but i have shot off of it.  I've used it for zeroing sights/red dots.  It's good for a few shots, but the pivot clamp comes loose.  Need Allen key to re-tighten, if you wish to keep it solid.  Stays clamped to the pict. rail though.

I'm running a Harris SBRM bipod on my M76 using a Harris 2R adapter to mount it to the wood handguard.  It is a very solid and practical set-up.  I know it's not a WASR, but you could utilize the same set-up and retain your wood handguards if so desired.

I use a cheap spring clamp one I got off eBay. I only use it for zeroing or bench shooting if I'm lazy. Most of the time I don't use it.  It's not exactly stable for real use though.
