How hard is it to replace the barrel trunion pin?  The one that I have in my rifle is not full length (it does go through to the other side of the trunion) however, it does not fit flush on both sides.  Can I just pick up a new trunion pin and press it in behind the other forcing the other out as I press the new one in?  How hard would this be?

Do you mean the barrel pin?  It can be hard to replace.  I am not sure there is anything wrong with yours, mine barely protrudes on both sides...

no you would want to remove the first one then install a new one
but if your pin isnt missing alot just leave it alone

it would have to be missing 1/4 in befor id even mess with it

What kind of rifle is it?  On the Yugos, the barrel pin is shorter than the width of the trunion.  On the others, the pin is a little bit longer than the trunion width but not by much.  I wouldn't worry about it.  You can post some pics of it though so we can see.
