If it came off an AES10, then it might fit. The AES10b has the heavy barrel, thicker than the Chicom barrel and prolly would be to big to work.

Problem solved. I just found NHM91 Bipods on sale for $18.99 at CDNN. Perfect and some very reasonable Bulgarian Mags. thanks again guys. As soon as my rifle is debanned I will post some picks.

If its the CDNN Norpod, it wont fit the NHM91, even though the ad says so. The clamps are not large enough in diameter to fit the larger barrel
of the NHM91. I kept mine to use on other AKs.

It fits my standard barrel AK's Ill bet it would work on the "WASR" AES 10

Well, I have an AirForce Condor which I had first used this bipod

Alternative Bipod

Then I sized a piece of weaver rail that clamped on the under gun rail so I could easily remove the bipod. Anyway what I did before I got a proper
original NHM91 bipod, I belt sanded the clamps pictured in the link above to fit nicely between the barrel rings where the bipod is meant to go.

It fits my standard barrel AK's Ill bet it would work on the "WASR" AES 10

I bought one and was not really happy with it. I'm not really sure this is Chinese military. The legs are not designed to close together and lock. So the legs stick out on both sides of the barrel in the up position.
Also the base of the springs on the legs do not have a "hole" to fit in. They just press up against the leg. Kind of hard to explain, but a drill press would probably take care of that.
I would like to see some pics of real Chinese bipods to compare it with.

The bipod I had fashioned is far better than the original. I just want authenticity. Besides with the Chinese original I never shoot with the legs extended so have had no real issues.
