Hello,

I just came across a newer CAI Rom. WASR 7.62x39. When loaded, the bolt is hard to close. Do you think this will loosen up if oiled and sliding the bolt several times by hand?

SCrubbed out the chamber?

Grease the bolt up and manually cycle the action several hundred times.

Seems like the WASR's of late have terrible actions but I think it's from grossly misaligned gas tubes.

Yeah, hopefully the piston is going to sit properly in the gas port. Have you fired it yet? does it fire properly?

Clean the rifle throughly. Then clean it throughly again. If it was fired before you bought it, clean it throughly again, since the previous owner probably didn't get all the cosmoline out before it was fired. Oil it lightly. Shoot it.
