Im ordering a "Romy" kit from Copes Distributing, And Buy a Complete Global Trades 1.6mm stamped action. Im going to get the Tapco T6 furniture in ACU Ak47 parts combo with G2 FCG and tapco piston bird cage flash hider Pro Mag Clear 30rd clips Is there Anyting Im missing here, any advice to be given??? Im hoping since im buying a complete assembled action, it will cut down the difficulty level greatly. |

It is called a receiver, not action. If you buy the Global Trades 1.6mm receiver, you will have to machine/file the front and rear trunnions down by about 0.6mm on each side. That is, unless they changed the design. Global trades offers a service to assemble the trunnions an trigger guard on the receiver. Look on their website. If you send them the appropriate parts they will mail your FFL the assembled unit (I suggest you have them parkerize it too) and then you just have to put in the FCG, furniture and barrel and barrel pin. This can be done with minimal tools, but think before you act... If you don't do the above then just make sure you have the means, time and energy to rivet things together and file/adapt the parts to fit into a whole.
