| hey guys im thinking of building a psl I saw that center fire has the parts kit for 229 minus the receiver, so If i buy that and the receiver I should be golden right. I do not see in the picture a trigger and parts like that does anyone know if those come with the parts kits. thanks guys im new to these. |

That is not a "complete kit" you will need a receiver with the front and rear trunnions installed already and the trigger guard already installed. It's not a bad deal just besure not to get a get a receiver without the trunnions because they are pretty hard to find.
Other options would be a Yugo front trunnion and drilling open a standard Romy rear trunnion to fit the larger diameter rivets but the width on the standard rear trunnion may not be correct. |

Centerfire used to have them and they were the only ones who had them as far as I know. Looks like building a PSL just got much harder. I'm glad I got mine and built on a Romy receiver someone please help "drifter" this is one bad a$$ rifle to own it's a shame parts are getting hard to find. If you are ok with buying what you can get and sitting on it untill you can find the rest of the parts i'd say do it and get a receiver without trunnions. then just keep looking they will show up!
Also like I said a Yugo bulged trunnion will work , and you can make a standard AKM rear trunnion work. Don't give up! |
