I have a SLR-95 that fails to extract fired cases.  This occurance happens about every 10-15 rounds and  the fired case fails to eject and sometimes the fired case prevents the bolt carrier from going forward and other times the fired case and a new round go forward together and cause a failure to feed.  Any suggestions on corrective action to solve this problem?

There are some checks you can do that are in the manual: http://www.box.net/shared/cu2djae1zb

For starters, strip and clean the bolt.

Pay close attention to the hook and groove of the extractor. The hook should have a a clean almost sharp edge and the groove should be free of any debris. The extractor spring should be straight and not looked crushed.

It's also possible the extractor axle is bent. It should be straight and the extractor should move freely on it.

Another thing to check is that the chamber doesn't have any major pitting.

If you look at the stuck cases, are there any defects to them? Is the rim ripped or does it look more like the extractor slipped off?

Post some close up pics of the extractor and extractor spring when they are out.
