Ok guys and gals, I'm became team member now just so I could ask this question with out being laughed into the AR section- not that ya'll would do that. I've done the archive searches, (one of the privilages of joining), and only found a crude mod that extends the rear of the stock into the ugly and stupid zone.
So here's my query. On the Milled SLR 95, why can't that empty space where one would normaly put an Ace receiver block, be filled in or welded up or what ever, then drilled though for the underfolder mechanisms?
Remember, I'm an Official newbe with a bronze star, so be kind.

If you send it out to a good AK builder, it can be done, and the proper AK Smith will make it look right.

The conversion is possible but expensive. Also the rear of the receiver for the SLR-95 is a slightly different angle than purpose built Bulgarian UF milled receivers. Nothing that would prevent functioning but It might bug an AK purist.  It may be more cost effective to sell the SLR-95 and purchase an Arsenal SAS M-7. I have seen a few SAS M-7's sell recently in the $900 to $1000 range.
