If this is like some of the others I have seen, the trigger is not relocated, it's still hiding under the new stock (thats why you get that fat belly look). A new trigger is located under the foreend and a linkage is constructed to tie the two together. Do you have a left side photo, and is this a"real" weapon or just photoshop? If you look at the rear of the receiver at the point it meets the stock it looks fuzzy, and some of the lines on the forend are not sharp and straight. FWIW, I photoshop images about 6 hours a day, so IMHO, this is not a "real" weapon, and trying to deduce function from this photo would be a loosing battle. ETA: also no front sight. ETA2: how are you supposed to suing that 30 round mag in with the pistol grip in the way? Isn't that hard enough to do on a Romny "G"? ETA3: This is getting fun! Look at the line of the barrel relative to the receiver. It's sitting way too low. Whoever did this was sloppy! |
I mentioned that it was a "concept" picture. I went off of the design i saw some guy had made on ak-47.us. The barrel position is in fact correct because all I did is put the flash hider on the end of the original picture's pistol length barrel. I was'nt trying to get anyone to try to figure it out from this artwork. I was trying to see if anyone actually had a bullpup AK or the conversion kit and could give me pointers on making one. As far as the sights go I would have to use the tall ones like in the kit. The picture is just supposed to maybe catch peoples attention and get them interested. Try reading the post next time. |

Thry the break down at the bottom of this page on the Bushmaster Arm pistol to see a trigger link system. Also, tis link to theValmet M82has a great photo of the weapon showing the trigger link and forward trigger attachment. Still friends? |
| thanks someone else pointed that out. I mentioned that I will need to use higher sights like the ones in the conversion kit. What I would really like to do is have an elevated picatinney rail mounted above the pistol grip/handguard and mount those MP5 style sights like you see on some saiga 12s |
