| After having my new ak-47 for around 2 months then ganing access to the evil computer i found this sight and after reading I found out about the inacurate but insanely fun way to blow 30 rounds. The trouble is that i live in a rual community where alot of people talk. Any how I at my private shooting site on my property having a hell of a time with my 700 round spam can full of ammo for a couple hours. The next day I proceded to head down to the local Restarunt where most of the locals hang out and overheard a group talking about some illigal punk that must have stolen a machine gun or made one out of a simi auto and how they cant wait till the cops find him bla bla bla. Now my question is do i have any thing to worry about or will i get in trouble if the cops do show up? My gun is regestered in my name and is totaly legit. thanks for the info |
| Well thats kinda what I was thinking but Like Tapeo said As far as he knows theres nothing illegal Just wanted to make sure before I had to talk with the Man. Any one ever had the police or any other law enforcement come check you out while you were shooting? If so what did they ask did they want you to strip your rifle down? Could they confinscate your rifle for further examination? |
| I've only had one problem with Johnny Law. It was back in 1986, I went shooting with some friends in the National Forest (in CA no less) and the Forest Ranger came by to check out what was going on. We explained that they were semi auto and he just said ok and asked us nicely to pick up our empty brass when done. The funny part of it was that we took my friend's foreign exchange student from Sri Lanka with us and he was shooting my Galil when the Ranger showed up. It was his 1st day in the US too! |

a couple of us went to a range that was run by the local county police dept. it is open to the public only on saturday. we went only because they had a bus and a few cars to plink. we were blasting away with our AK's for a couple of hours and no one even questioned us about what we were shooting!!! |
Looks like you got some bad info there bud. Handguns need a permit to purchase, no registration. Rifles and shotguns nothing. MO gun laws |
| Hmm well I guess i stated that wrong I guess the Yellow fourm I filled out was the Back ground check. At least I thought it was hinking.gif |
