Can someone please tell me what size c clips I need to hold in the trigger mechanism pins.

I don't need to remove one, just noticed I was missing one the other day. Don't know how it came out or where it went.

I was about to make a point about C-clips not being the best tool for a job, but you just made it for me.

Why not use a retaining plate or a shepherds crook?

I have a TAPCO Retainer plate in my AK maybe its just the one I got but its PURE CRAP and I will be replacing it with a Red Star Arms Plate at some point

C clips are a poor choice,. You can get a locking plate for $10. Or use the original wire. But C clips are too thin. I know AK people are some of the biggest cheapskates on the planet but geeze.

C clips are to thin usually have to use two..I get the locking plates from AK builder or e bay they are cheep and fool proof..

I personally use safety wire as it works great to hold planes together and I haven't had a single trigger/hammer pin back out yet. Easy to remove if need be. .032" Installs easily with a pair of safety wire pliers
