Anyone know for sure if the Chinese FCG has a spacer/sleeve for the disconnector?

Also, which picture (1st or 2nd) is a Chinese disconnector?  Thanks.

no they dont but you could add 1 if you use a trigger for 1 also
first 1 is a full auto
second is semi only
but to answer your question all the maks i have taken down all had f/a disconnectors in them

first 1 is a full auto

That is a Chinese semi disconnector.

The Chinese used a trimmed down F/A disconnector in their semi-AK's. The Chinese
trimmed down the "tail" of these disconnectors so the selector couldn't catch it.
I've also seen trimmed down F/A disconnectors in a pre-ban FEG underfolder and
Maadi sporters.

Compare the disconnector with the F/A one in this pic, notice the length of the
"tail" on the disconnector.

Chinese semi's, factory sporter FEG's, and most Maadi's used an extended
selector stop. This stopped the selector in the F/A selector position. Therefore
these AK's had to use a semi-only disconnector for safe functioning.

Romanian, Arsenal, and most other semi AK's used the regular selector stop.
This stopped the selector in the normal semi selector position. That is why
these AK's can use a F/A disconnector with no problems.

My MAK 90 does not have a spacer sleeve, and the disconnector looks like the top one.

Well, it looks unanimous.  K-VAR sent out a Romanian disconnector instead of a Chinese one.

Thanks for the replys.

The geometry is the same for the disconnector... won't make a difference at all.

The reason for the spacer is to make room for another device... the RATE REDUCER.  Not entirely sure what this device did, but they felt the need to put it in for some reason.  Some call it a hammer delay, hammer retarder, etc.  Whatever, it's shown here:

the rate reducer slows down shooting while in f/a
you wont find them in milled guns only in stamped
basicly they slow the rate of fire so there is less stress on your weaker stamped reciever
