Took the handguards off and installed a quad rail. While trying to remove the upper handguard I went a little to hard and ended up bending the metal a bit at the edge of the gas tube opening. I dont think itll be a problem but what do you all think? Should I buy another?

I figured. I thought about taking a dremel to it ever so slightly but decided to leave it as is.

If the bolt still cycles smoothly, leave it.  I've had worse looking shit with some of mine.

Not a problem as long as your piston passes it freely.
If it does, dremel it smooth and use it.

Exactly what I was going to do. Im thinking a polishing wheel should do it.

File or grind it smooth and you're fine.
