[ARCHIVED THREAD] - DS Arms vs Vector RPD

I would like to get an RPD, but I want to get one that runs and is reliable. I have read that both the DS Arms and the Vector RPD's have had issues. What has been everyones experience with these? I believe that DS Arms had two generations of their RPD. Are the Gen 2 guns good to go?

I dont know anything about Vector, but I know I wouldnt buy anything from DS Arms again.

I was looking at these on Gunbroker I mailed the guys they seem pretty professional and the rifle is nice for the money.
