Probably a dumb idea to even mention this issue.  My bad.

What kind of receiver is Vector using ? It could be the "hammer follow" problem that have been occurring on some NDS-3 receivers using TAPCO FCGs. Take a look at the Arizona Response Systems  website.  He  describes this problem and how to fix it in the Notes section.  Sorry but I do not have the exact link to the page on his site.

They are using ArmoryUSA stamped receivers last I heard.

I'd run at least a couple cases of ammo through it just to verify the problem, you know to make sure and all

What do you do to ensure that you're not held liable for being in posession of a machine gun when something like this happens?

Disassemble it and contact the manufacturer?

Destroy it?

How about dont post it on a public access internet forum until the issue is rectified.

Unless you're licensed, I would also suggest not posting about a Full Auto until Vector fixes it.

This is one of those "better safe then sorry" deals.

pretty simple...call and tell them whats up...and since you've had to go through this again ask them for some compensation.

The last thing you should have done was posted on a public forum about it.  When your TV takes a crap on you do you go online to a forum and ask what to do?  NO you call tech support and sit there on hold while "John Brown" who sounds suspiciously like he's from India talks to you in heavily accented English and puts you on hold for an hour.  BUT.....to each his own I suppose.

My HK93 clone (V93) somehow was messed up, lost a small internal piece...

well I had a few options on it....

SAFE

SEMI

BURST

consistently did perfect 3nrd bursts on the 3rd selection.  Vector was more than polite in asking for it back when I reported this issue.

Now it shoots fine...all semi.

Didnt hand it back until I got a few short 15sec vid clips on my cell of doing 3rnd bursts reliably...darn freakin cool.  I got called to the lodge at my range, they were asking if my buddy and I were "shooting machine guns", cause they said they could tell we were...

oops
