I've decided on a double hook trigger for my Polish PMKM.  I've heard some vague talk about the receiver needing a minor modification.  Can anyone exlain?  Thanks!

Someone correct me if I'm wrong......But I believe that it's just a matter of taking another notch out of the trigger hole, opposite where the existing one would be.  This just allows for the second "hook" to come past the bottom of the receiver a bit when the trigger is pulled.  I can prolly post a pic later if this is confusing.

No I think you got it right as I cut my double hook to get it to fit in my WASR.  Not a BIG fan of modding receivers personally.

Thanks guys.  This is consistant with what I've read.

Absolutely as simple as dremelling another notch for the second hook to operate through.  I personally have been using single hook fcg's on receivers with one notch and double hook fcg's on my receivers that have two notches.

What are Global Trades' receivers designed to support?  Single or double?  Thanks again!

Again, correct me if I'm wrong.....I think you can get both.  But unless you find the one you want at a gun show or the like in person, you might have to special order it from Global Trades.

P.S.   If you were to buy a single hook FCG, it would work in either receiver.

I don't know about any of the FFL receivers.  I bend all my own receivers at home.  If you are unsure you can just get a single hook and it will work either way.  But I am sure that somebody with experience with GT receivers will chime in shortly.

Pretty sure the GT recievers are advertised as double hook ready.

This is consistent with what I understood as well.
