What's the difference between these two Draco's:
http://www.centuryarms.biz/proddetail.asp?prod=HG2159-N http://www.centuryarms.biz/proddetail.asp?prod=HG2160-N I just bought another Draco (still waiting on the stamp before I show off my first one |
| I've seen 2 types of Draco's at gunshows lately. The Draco & the Draco C The Draco is new Romy parts, on a new Romy receiver. The Draco C is used Romy parts on a new Romy receiver. The trunions on the Draco are undated. The trunions on the Draco C have a date from when the parts were originally assembled into the original military full auto weapon. I don't know if that's the difference between the 2 guns the OP is showing, but at recent shows, these 2 are what is being sold now. The left side of the receiver is where you will see either Draco, or Draco C. GARY N4KVE |

To answer the OP's question, yes, they are essentially the same thing. Visually, they seem to be pretty much identical. As far as parts are concerned, most tend to favor the C model since it uses military hardware, but honestly I don't know if there's any truth to that and, if even if there is, I'm sure the difference is one that 99% of users will never know anyways. |

No, what this means is that your trunion is dated 1968, & since your trunion has all matching #'s to the rest of the parts, your parts are from a 1968 gun. Maybe unfired, but still 42 years old, & used. However, since these parts are from a military weapon, I'm sure they are as good as new. GARY N4KVE
