I have a question on the AK drop cases, has anyone taken one apart to make a pattern of it?  I would like to get my own material and recreate one.  I was just wondering if anyone had done such a thing.

I know of no one that has done so, they are pretty cheap and unless you have a specialized skill and sewing machine it would not be feasilble for the average Joe collector/builder.

I got me rifle in this here tater tote bag I swear they make these things out of  burlap potatoe sacks. I had the one with multiple strings it was a PITA, I was going to get the folding stock version with 2 strings but put it off.

I cant imagine it would be too hard to recreate one, they sell on Tatnal for like $45.
