Does anyone have, or know where to obtain the patent drawings for the ak74 quad stack mags? I had them saved before but my computer crashed and they were lost. Just wanting to try and model them up in solidworks and see if i can get something to work.

THanks

Thankyou so much, those are what i was looking for. I just got a copy of solidworks and have been trying to modle something up that will work. I just graduated from the University of Illinois with a mechanical engineering degree so i hope i can figure something out.

If i could make them do you think there would be a market for them?

I could definately go for 1-2 units if they were reliable and moderately durable.
In fact, if you could design one in 7.62x39, I could also go for one of those.

I would be willing to beta test the shit out of one.
If they could hold up to good use and "the AK magazine pushup" I would love to have 4.

just want to wish you luck on your endeavor, I would love to have to cut out some dividers in some mag pouches.

One in 223/5.56 NATO would sell real well also.  Should not be that much of a change for it also.

Ok well just letting everyone know that i started some of the CAD modeling work last night in Solidworks. Ive got a newer version of the solidworks program coming in sometime this week as well so that should speed things along a bit as well as its the same version i use at work.

Im going to start the new thread, and post updates and what not on there, so keep an eye out for it coming online today or so. As i said ive got the follower started and the mag body will be second, ill post the file as soon as i get it finished.

That's because you're a mag whore.

I've seen your collection of Bakelite RPK-74 mags.

But I'm poor...honestly my 5 month old Grand daughter finds ways for me to spend my money these days

If I would have to buy those 45 rounders today, I would be SOL
