I'm thinking of getting a rail on my SAM-7 (the type that fits on the gas tube)and put an Eotech on it. I've got a couple of questions. 1) Did you find the Eotech helped w/ accuracy (I'm sure iot will help w/ shot acquisition) 2) Was the Eotech effected by the heat of the gas-tube? |

I know Aimpoints and Kobras ignore the heat, so the EO should be fine there. Fwd will reduce the effective moa of the dot to help accuracy, but 2.5" is the likely ideal best so it depends on how well you were with irons and sharing focus on 2 planes plus target instead of just one plane plus target. |
