I just bought a WASR10 High Cap only a few days after I bought my first AK which some of you may know was a WASR10 Low Cap.  I compared the diconnecter in each of the rifles.  The low cap has the disconnecter that was original to Romania, thus no trigger slap.  The High cap one has the tab on the back of the disconnecter so I'm assuming it's going to have some trigger slap.  The guy at the gun store said it's near impossible to remove the FCG and ground it off.  He said the pins are pressed in place thus a PITA to get out.  Would I be able to leave the FCG in and use a small file or dremmel to get in there?  If not what's the easiest way to remove it so I can modify it?  I asked if they would do it in their shop for me and they said no.  He said it's best to leave it as is.  What's your take?

LOL Bullshit, The guy at the gun store needs to start selling some other shit. There is a guy here that owns a gun store that told me there wasn't no such thing as a 223 AK so why would I need mags for it.  shut him up when I drug it in there and then asked for some mags for it.

there is a post running around here somewhere that has directions on the grinding part.  There is another thread here somewhere on how to get the FCG out,   it requires about 5-10 mins, a pair of pliers etc.  you should really look around.

In fact follow these directions,  FCG taken out made easy.
