I have used the Tapco tool before, but they always seem to bend and become useless. Is there a better quality AK front sight adjustment tool other than the "U-shaped" Tapco tool that everyone seems to offer? |
The elevation tool that comes with your cleaning kit is the best one. Impossible to break. |

Were these recent Tapco tools or were they ones from a few years ago? I have a recent Tapco tool and it has proven to be as solid as a rock. There were some a few years ago that bent and broke which they would replace as they say the manufacturer didn't heat treat them or used inferior metal. The Chinese ones sold by Centerfire and others are junk. Undersized holes for the windage adjustment. Though they work on Chinese SKS's |
Buy this one ^^^^ I've bent two of the Tapco ones. ETA: I bought the one above and it works perfectly. |
