This is my first post on the forum. I am a long time gun owner and have been away from the AKM platform for a few years.

I just picked up this WASR Gp 10/63 and it had ugly black plastic handguards on her so I put these on. They were the only ones I had on hand.

Thought I would show her off.

nice, i have two of them. do yourself a favor and wrap the stock in paracord

Yeah the wire folder is not too bad once wrapped up. I wrapped mine all the way back onto the butt plate, up to the rubber stopper.

I was thinking of trying the paracord. Has anyone had issues with the stock not locking in the folded position due to the paracord?
