I put 120 rounds through my new WASR today. The 1st 3 shots, it failed to feed the next rnd and then it done this once more about the 3rd round into the 2nd mag. I hate to hear and say that a new gun needs breaking in, but this one does/did. You may recall I said the action felt tight or new and it feels much better now. The other 80 rnds or so fired without error.
The sights are perfectly straight. Never had an AK with the front drum centered, but this one is. After having the FTF issue, I didn't even bother to adjust the elevation as it's about 3 inches low at 25 meters. It has a helluva cheek slap and that skinny grip has to go. I've already stripped it back down and everything looks good. |

If you shoot lefty, check the direction of your slant brake. If it's the wrong direction it will sting...I know.
If the recoil spring feels weak replace it with a new one. If the rifle feels a little over-gassed try an extra power spring from Wolf Springs. It helped a lot on one of mine. Use a tight cheek weld and keep it tight to your shoulder. This is always the problem with my friends who are used to shooting ar's in 223. The get too relaxed and the ak will throw them around and beat them up. |

I got one in my C39V2 and this thing really stings... |
