| will this http://www.k-var.com/product.asp?3=235 fit my bulgarian 74 parts kit or do I have to get a thread adaptor? I still haven't figured out what kind of threads i have the 24mmx1.5 or the 14x 1mm threads. Thanks a lot. |
| I cant see the picture that you posted but yeah i have the threaded front sight base so thats 24mm then? i like the look of the flash supressor and i hear thats its really effecient. Have you read the artical in the new SWAT mag about the guy that useds this same flash suppressor on ARs? Its a cool artical check it out. Thanks for the help. |

I was referring to the picture in your link. To my knowledge, no FSBs were ever threaded for 14 mm. If the rifle had 14 mm threads, it was the barrel that was threaded. FSBs that have threads, the only 2 kinds of threads I know of for those are 22mm (Romys) and 24 mm (everyone else). So, my guess is that since you FSB has the threads and it is Bulgy, then they are 24 mm. I would measure the ouside diameter of your threads and see what you have to be sure. 24 mm = 0.945 inches and 14 mm = 0.551 inches. So, take a ruler and if the threads are almost an inch across you should have 24 mm and if they are a hair over 1/2 inch, then you have 14 mm. edit: sorry for the mistakes, I am rather fried and am starting a much needed vacation today. |
